1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and MatchPilot (operated by Freq, accessible at matchpilot.date, "we", "us", or "our").

By installing, downloading, accessing, or using the MatchPilot browser extension (the "Extension", "Software") or associated services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately uninstall and discontinue using the Extension.

2. Independent Software & Third-Party Disclaimers

MatchPilot is an independent client-side productivity and organizational tool developed to enhance user convenience in desktop web browsers.

MatchPilot is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Match Group, Inc., Tinder, Meta Platforms, Inc., WhatsApp, Instagram, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The names "Tinder", "WhatsApp", and "Instagram", as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images, are registered trademarks of their respective owners. The use of these trademarks is solely for nominative identification of the third-party platforms with which the client extension interacts.

3. Third-Party Platform Changes & Disclaimer of Continuous Compatibility

The Extension operates by interacting locally with the Document Object Model (DOM) and web interfaces of third-party platforms (including Tinder Web, WhatsApp Web, and Instagram Direct) within your desktop browser session.

4. User Conduct & Platform Rules Compliance

You are solely responsible for your interactions, communications, and conduct while using the Extension:

• Compliance with Third-Party Policies: You agree to comply with all applicable terms of service, community guidelines, and policies of any third-party platform you access via the Extension.
• Final Editorial Control: MatchPilot provides AI-assisted response drafting and profile organization. You remain the sole author and sender of all messages, and you retain full responsibility for reviewing, editing, and transmitting any message or swipe action.
• Third-Party Account Actions: While MatchPilot implements humanized client-side pacing to minimize platform friction, we do not control third-party moderation systems. MatchPilot shall have no liability for any actions taken by third-party platforms against your account (including but not limited to warnings, rate limits, shadowbans, account suspensions, or terminations).

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Merchant of Record

All orders, payments, invoicing, and tax collection are processed exclusively by our authorized Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC).

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Hassle-Free Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time without providing a reason. A direct link to your Lemon Squeezy customer portal is included in every receipt email. Clicking "Cancel Subscription" immediately disables auto-renewal; you retain full Pro access until your prepaid cycle concludes.

Refund Inquiries: If you experience persistent technical defects that prevent the core extension from functioning and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within 14 days of your initial purchase, you may request a refund by emailing contact@matchpilot.date with your Lemon Squeezy order number.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE, LANDING PAGE, AND RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

MATCHPILOT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, ACHIEVE ANY DATING OUTCOMES, OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, OR BE ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MATCHPILOT, FREQ, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO MATCHPILOT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
